Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. His father is an Argentine and has Scottish as well as English ancestry. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's ex-married partners. After having lived with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was extremely stressful. She was not willing to study English and believed she would be able to return to Argentina. Her school had to change between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. At the age of 16 she left the college and began pursuing a career as an actress full time. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actor. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered the opportunity to model.
