Lisa Edelstein, an American actor best well-known for House the Fox medical drama series. Raised in Wayne within a conservative Jewish traditions, she moved in New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theatre at Tisch School of Arts. The school was very active in club culture, causing enough fuss to attract the media's attention. Eventually she used her training as well her fame to compose and write a musical called Positive Me and was also in the film. Soon after, she was hired by MTV to host Awake On The Wild Side. Once Awake on the Wild Side had stopped running, she started acting in movies and on television, initially in brief parts. As time went on, her work as an actor grew.
