
Pichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is more popularly known. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) for Alphabet Inc.'s subsidiary Google. Born in Madurai, India.[4] Pichai graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a degree in metallurgical engineer. After making the move to the United States, Pichai earned an M.S. When he moved to the United States and completing an M.S. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University. Following a brief time at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. He was responsible for the development of Google Drive as well as the management of products and innovations. He also oversees the creation of Google Maps, Gmail, as well as other applications. Pichai declared in 2010 that Google had made the video codec VP8 open-source and also introduced WebM as a brand-new video format. In 2012, the Chromebook was launched. In 2013 Pichai added Android to the list of Google products that he was responsible for.
